Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on the Colorbar mattillusion blushes. I really like using blush in my makeup as they add a beautiful tint to the cheeks and make the whole makeup look fresh and healthy. I am naturally gifted with rosy cheeks but the moment I use any foundation on my face, it isn’t visible anymore. So, for that same healthy and fresh look I add blush in my makeup.

 

These blushes are my favourite because of their nice silky texture and colours. You can never go over boarded with these. The shades are to die for. My favourites are timeless rouge 001 and veiled merlot 002.

I really appreciate the packaging of these blushes. It comes with a small good quality mirror, had a magnetic closure and is very compact and sturdy. Overall all it's a really cute and travel friendly packaging. It's strong enough to bear any mild accidents also. I am really impressed with its packaging.

Shades and swatches with description: 

There are four shades in this range.

• Timeless rouge 001: It's a very light pink shade and will flatter fair skinned beauties.
• Veiled merlot 002: It's a coral shade and will look good on fair to medium skinned beauties.
• Flushed satin 003: Rosy pink shade and is deeper than 001. It will flatter medium to deep skinned beauties.
• Fallen leaves 004: It's a light brown shade and will look good on light to medium skinned beauties.

My Experience: I really like these blushes because of their silky smooth texture and natural finish. These are matte blushes(as the name says 'mattillusion'). Unlike the 'cheekillusion' range, which has little shimmers in it, these are silky matte blushes. My personal favourite is timeless rouge 001.

Love for:

1. Silky smooth texture.
2. Natural matte finish.Looks absolutely flattering and natural on cheeks.
3. One cant go over-boarded with these blushes.So, it's safe for new comers.
4. Decent price.
5. Great packaging(compact and sturdy).
6. No fragnance.
7. good staying power for 4 to 5 hours.

Hate for:

Shade range. I think only flushed satin will look good on deeper skin- tone beauties.But all these shades will flatter light to medium skin tones for sure.

Will I recommend?

Yes, but only to light to medium skin tone beauties.For deeper skin-tones I shall suggest the 03 flushed satin only.

My thoughts about this range: colorbar should extend this range with some deeper shades suitable for dusky beauties to flaunt this range of blushes.
